Sarat C. Das has well over two-and-a-half decade of working career behind him, spanning television broadcasting, print and new media, publishing and teaching in Australia, India, Afghanistan, Nepal, UAE and UK’s higher and further education sector. A large part of his career has been in key positions involving overseeing delivery of UK university programmes such as University of Wales MBA programme and post graduate programmes of Anglia Ruskin University at its London outcentre, corporate training at University of Brighton in Hastings campus, UK, and managing editorial production of newspaper, new media and broadcasting. Prior to his involvement in higher and further education, Das looked after some of the busiest  news room and content production of big-ticket media organisations including Hindustan Times (a newspaper launched by MK Gandhi currently owned by KK Birla group in India), Ariana Radio and Television (Kabul, Afghanistan), India’s public broadcaster DD, Economic Times (Asia’s highest circulated financial daily and sister company of Time of India, world's largest selling English-language broadsheet owned by Bennett Coleman), etc. 

Das also provided extensive management and media services consultation focussing on e-learning (content management to strategic partnership), consolidation of new media, structuring deals with credit rating agencies as a representation under Kleiner Perkin’s funded B2B portal. These media and IT companies were assisted on their planning, content, and audio-visual production -- Tehelka, Platinum Edu Ltd (HFCL Group), Yahoo!, IANS, UBICS (UB Group), IGUSA., etc. Das also taught liberal arts and management programs in UK for more than seven years at various levels including Level 8 research students.  His recent years research papers and lectures at research seminars focused on cross- disciplining social science and philosophy with management. Das presented a series of papers including topics such as ‘Globalisation and Cosmopolitanism’, ‘Free Will and Consumer Choice’, ‘Relationship Marketing replicates Small-World’ and ‘An Investigation into the morality of Peter Drucker’s knowledge worker’, etc.

Das holds two first degrees including an honours degree in sociology, a post-graduate diploma in journalism, and two master's degrees – MA in film and television studies from Griffith University (Brisbane, Australia) and an MBA from Plymouth Marjon University, UK (earlier known as St Mark and St John University). Das has also earned Level 4 (75 credits) through a series of on-campus credit-based courses at Oxford University between 2012 and 2016 after spending four years researching on truth theories (post-modernism perspective) in the University of Greenwich, UK and London Metropolitan University. His primary research areas include interdisciplinary study of management-philosophy, stereotypes, cultural myths, postmodernism, cultural anthropology, surrealism and both colonial and post-colonial literature.
